  1. B-015(1) Copy Wanting the blank leaf a1. Binding: Eighteenth-century Austrian (Gaming) blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, two clasps lost. On both covers multiple fillets form three frames; the inner rectangles are divided by fillets into three horizontal compartments. In the outer frame, a roll of small rectangular fields, in the central frame a crocked cresting roll, in the inner frame a floral ornament. In the compartments two stamps: a triangular floral stamp and a floral corner-piece. In the centre of the upper cover the coat of arms of the Carthusians in Gaming within a wreath, on the back cover, an ornamental stamp. See Gaming tool catalogue (MS. Broxb. 83.21). Size: 316 × 215 × 72 mm. Size of leaf: 305 × 193 mm. Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining. Provenance: Johann Bach (fl. 1491); on T8r: ‘Missus est presens liber fratri Martino redditto ex Venetys a Johannes pach qui ambo mente pia petunt. Aue Maria. 1491' in the rubricator's hand, in red.
