  1. H-078(1) Copy Gathering [l] is bound between leaves [m3] and [m4]. Binding: Eighteenth-century French olive-green morocco, faded from blue?; for Girardot de Préfond?; gold-tooled spine, gilt-edged leaves, and marbled pastedowns. Size: 193 × 141 × 22 mm. Size of leaf: 188 × 124 mm. The letters of the printed headings on [a1r] and [a3r] have been painted over in gold, and a two-line initial ‘M' and a four-line initial ‘S' is supplied in gold. Provenance: Paul Girardot de Préfond (†after c.1800); scar of small circular book-plate, perhaps that of Girardot, above Sussex book-plate; not found in sale catalogue (1757).
