  1. L-187(1) Copy Binding: Nineteenth-century(?) half red sheep over pasteboards, the spine gold-tooled (fillets only), with yellow-edged leaves. ‘Vet. Impr. I fol. 22' on a rectangular paper label at the tail of the spine. Scar of an index tab on [et6]. Size: 450 × 335 × 103 mm. Size of leaf: 435 × 307 mm. Marginal note, extracting key word, on [M6r], in an early hand. ‘fol. I.22' on verso of front endleaf. On [a1r] an 11-line initial ‘F' and on [A1r] a 10-line initial ‘P' is supplied in blue with white and black pen-work decoration, on a square gold ground surrounded by a red and green frame edged in yellow. On [a4r] a 16-line initial ‘D' is supplied in gold within a square blue ground with white pen-work decoration surrounded by the same kind of frame (Koberger initials).
