Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century calf, with sprinkled red-edged leaves and the shelfmark across the head of the fore-edge.
Size: 212 × 148 × 36 mm.
Size of leaf: 201 × 135 mm.
A few marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, and ‘nota' marks on item 1 only, in Copston's hand, and, in English, in another seventeenth/eighteenth-century hand on H8v: ‘[Pu]blished first in french [a]fterward in Latine by Sir John Mandevill Anno 1355'. Monogram in brown on a1r of item 3.
Provenance: Christopher Copston (fifteenth/sixteenth century); inscription on A1v of item 1:‘ Christopher Copston whitspur(?)'.
These three items were probably together from early times, as they are frequently found bound together.
Date of acquisition unknown; not found in Hyde, Catalogus (1674) or in Fysher, Catalogus.
