  1. N-004(1) Copy Leaf A5 bound before A4. In the last gathering K7 has been cut away. The text ends on K8, not as BMC. Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, with remains of a metal catch and clasp. Parchment endleaves. Triple fillets form a frame. Within the frame, diagonal triple fillets form lozenge-shaped and triangular compartments, each with a circular floral or lamb and flag stamp, a lozenge-shaped fleur-de-lis stamp, and ‘Maria', ‘Ihesus', and ‘Iohannes' scrolls; a small circular floral stamp at each intersection. On the lower cover a circular stag stamp instead of the circular floral one, and an extra lozenge-shaped eagle stamp. Rebacked. One parchment index tab on A1. Size: 215 × 145 × 30 mm. Size of leaf: 208 × 133 mm. Initials, some with reserved white decoration, paragraph marks, and underlining of chapter headings supplied in red; capital strokes in red. Provenance: Bernardus Saxenius Volckmariensis (fl. 1602); inscription on the verso of the front parchment endleaf: ‘Bernardus Saxenius Volckmariensis est possessor huius libri Anno 1602'.
