  1. N-030(1) Copy Gatherings2 a and2 b are bound before gathering A, as HC. Binding: Eighteenth-century(?) Italian half parchment with paper boards. Remains of a parchment index tab on r11. Size: 221 × 158 × 65 mm. Size of leaf: 211 × 148 mm. On a2r a 13-line initial ‘Q' is supplied in blue within a red pen-work border, with red pen-work extensions into the margins, and with red pen-work decoration within the body of the letter; other two- to six-line initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue; some capital strokes in red, some capitals touched with yellow wash. Provenance: Albergotti family (eighteenth century); name on the front pastedown.
