Headings:
Ovidius Naso, Publius De nuncio sagaci.
Analysis of content:
  1. [a2r] Ovidius Naso, [Publius pseudo-]: De nuncio sagaci. Incipit: ‘Summi victoris fierem cum victor amoris | Sperabam curis finem posuisse futuris'.
Imprint:
[Cologne: Printer of the ‘Historia S. Albani' (Johann Guldenschaff or Conrad Winters, de Homborch?), c.1474]. 4°.
Collation:
[a8]. Type: 97 G (Pr), but BMC notes that ‘it varies in measurement from 97 to 109'. In this case 20 lines (on [a2v]) measure 117/18, presumably suggesting that more substantial leading was used: for O‑050 (Pr 1014), BMC I 216 notes ‘type 97 (leaded)', and, in that case, 20 lines measure 118. 8 leaves. 24 lines ([a3r]). Type area: 138 ×87 mm ([a3r]). Leaf [a1] blank. [a2r]: ‘Ouidii Naſonis Sulmonēſis poete | de nūcio ſagaci liber incipit; | [S]Vmmi victoris fierē cū victor amois | Sperabā curis . . .' [a8r], l. 8: ‘Hiis verbis tuta. fuit illum virgo ſecuta; | Ouidij naſonis Sulmonenſis poete | de nūcio ſagaci liber Explicit'.
