  1. P-025(1) Copy Wanting leaves [401.6], the last blank. Binding: Seventeenth-century(?) parchment, with manuscript title at head of the spine and green-edged leaves. Strips from a fifteenth-century manuscript in Latin, on parchment, visible in the binding. Size: 282 × 210 × 85 mm. Size of leaf: 274 × 205 mm. Marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, but also correcting and underlining the text, ‘nota' marks, and running chapter headings in an early hand. Early signatures partially visible. On [22r] and [271r], five- and six-line initial ‘P's are supplied in interlocked red and blue within a frame of red pen-work decoration and coloured in green extending into the margin. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red. Capital strokes in red. Provenance: ‘Joannis de Betia Consiliarius Consilii Braban[tie]' (sixteenth century); inscription on [11r]. Carolus van de Noot (fl. 1555); inscription on the same leaf: ‘Ex dono domicelle Margarete vande betie sororis prefati Joannis de betia factus sum Caroli vande Noot anno domini 1555'.
