Binding: Nineteenth-century red gold-tooled paper boards backed with calf; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers; sprinkled red-edged leaves; marbled pastedowns.
Size: 287 × 215 × 24 mm.
Size of leaf: 280 × 202 mm.
Marginal notes, washed, mainly extracting key words and providing corrections to the text, in a humanist hand. ‘40f’ in the upper right-hand corner of the recto of the rear endleaf.
On the outer margin of [a2r] a chain with flowers at its links is supplied in faint red and blue.
Provenance: Purchased by Heber for £1. 1. 0, according to the price annotated in red ink in Heber's sale catalogue.
