Manuscript numbers ‘31' and ‘574'(?) on small square paper labels at head of spine. Size: 315 × 223 × 34 mm. Size of leaf: 310 × 205 mm. The number ‘1- 1- 6' in brown ink on torn stub of front endleaf. On a4r a five-line initial ‘U' is supplied in blue, on a ground of red pen-work, with extensions into the inner margin, the space within the body of the letter also filled with red pen-work. Paragraph marks and underlining are supplied in red; capital strokes in red; initials are coloured in red. Provenance: Philip Yorke, 1st Earl of Hardwicke (1690-1764); book-plate.
